Plot Summary

Wanted follows the story of Wesley Gibson (James McAvoy), an ordinary and frustrated young man whose life is turned upside down after discovering that his estranged father was a legendary assassin who devoted his life to killing criminals. When his father is brutally murdered, Wesley is drawn into a hidden world of elite killers and decides to seek revenge by continuing where his father left off.

To fulfill this new destiny, Wesley is taken under the wing of Sloan (Morgan Freeman), his father’s former partner and the authoritative leader of a secret brotherhood of assassins. Through relentless and brutal training, Wesley is pushed beyond his physical and psychological limits, learning to harness abilities he never knew he possessed.
