Plot Summary

Stronger tells the deeply personal and emotionally charged story of Jeff Bauman (Jake Gyllenhaal), a kind-hearted but directionless young man struggling to find stability and purpose in his life. Hoping to win back his former girlfriend Erin (Tatiana Maslany), Jeff promises to stand at the finish line of the Boston Marathon with a sign to support her run, a simple gesture meant to prove his commitment.
