Story Overview

Spun dives into the chaotic underbelly of America’s methamphetamine culture, where the drug is cheaply and easily produced in makeshift home laboratories. The film opens a raw window onto a world fueled by paranoia, addiction, and moral collapse.

Ross (Jason Schwartzman) is an unemployed college dropout in his early twenties, drifting aimlessly through life. His routine revolves around hanging out at the house of a small-time drug dealer known as Spider Mike (John Leguizamo), a connection that pulls him deeper into a dangerous social circle.

Through Spider Mike, Ross meets Cookie (Mena Suvari), a volatile meth cook, and her stripper girlfriend Nikki (Brittany Murphy). What begins as casual association quickly spirals into a three-day, sleep-deprived descent marked by hallucinations, violence, and emotional disintegration.

As time loses all meaning, Ross finds himself stripped not only of his sense of reality but also of his moral compass. Trapped in a relentless cycle of addiction and bad decisions, he is forced to confront a final question: can he reclaim his values, or has he already crossed a line from which there is no return?
