Plot Summary

Mission: Impossible II centers on Sean Ambrose, a former IMF agent who has turned his back on duty but remains haunted by his past. Seeking power and wealth, Ambrose steals a deadly virus known as Chimera, developed by scientists as a controlled biological weapon. His plan is to exploit the virus for personal gain, turning its immeasurable value into a tool for profit while holding the world hostage with the threat of global chaos.

To stop this looming catastrophe, Ethan Hunt, portrayed by Tom Cruise, is assigned to track Ambrose down before the virus can be unleashed.
