Plot Summary

Léon centers on Léon (Jean Reno), a solitary and highly disciplined professional hitman living in New York City. His life is governed by strict routines and emotional detachment, allowing him to carry out assassinations with precision and disappear without a trace. Léon’s existence is defined by silence, isolation, and an almost childlike simplicity that keeps him detached from the outside world.

Everything changes when Mathilda (Natalie Portman), a twelve-year-old girl living in the same apartment building, witnesses the brutal murder of her entire family.
