Plot Summary

One of the most popular and successful franchises in modern cinema history, the Jurassic World series returns with a new chapter that delivers even greater spectacle, danger, and adventure. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom welcomes audiences back to a world where dinosaurs are no longer confined to controlled environments, and humanity’s past mistakes threaten to unleash irreversible consequences.

As Isla Nublar faces imminent destruction from a massive volcanic eruption, former park manager Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) launches a rescue mission to save the remaining dinosaurs. She is joined once again by Owen Grady (Chris Pratt), whose bond with the animals pulls him back into a world he tried to leave behind.

What begins as a humanitarian effort quickly reveals a far darker agenda. As ancient creatures are removed from the island, the line between preservation and exploitation collapses, giving rise to terrifying new species and moral dilemmas that could change the future of the planet.

The film reunites Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard with executive producers Steven Spielberg and Colin Trevorrow, under the banners of Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment.
