Plot Summary

In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale tells the epic transformation of an ordinary man into a relentless warrior driven by loss and vengeance. Known simply as the Farmer (Jason Statham), the hardworking villager lives a quiet life until his world is shattered by a brutal attack from the Krugs—an army of savage creatures created by dark magic. During the raid, his son is killed and his wife Solana is abducted, leaving the Farmer with nothing but grief and fury.

Determined to reclaim what was taken from him, the Farmer sets out on a dangerous journey to rescue Solana. He is joined by his loyal friends Norick and Bastian (Ron Perlman and Will Sanderson), forging an unlikely band bound by loyalty and revenge. As they pursue the Krug army deep into the kingdom, the Farmer begins to shed his former identity and awaken the warrior within.

Meanwhile, the King discovers that the true mastermind behind the invasion is the treacherous sorcerer Gallian (Ray Liotta). Gallian’s ultimate goal is to overthrow the crown and install the weak Duke Fallow (Matthew Lillard) as ruler, plunging the land into chaos. As war looms and dark ambitions collide, the Farmer must confront both supernatural evil and his own destiny, rising from peasant to hero in a battle that will decide the fate of the kingdom.
