Plot Summary

Closer is a sharp and emotionally charged adaptation of the acclaimed stage play by Patrick Marber, focusing on the intersecting lives of four individuals whose relationships are defined by desire, deception, and emotional exposure.

The story begins when Alice (Natalie Portman), a young woman living in London, is struck by a car and rescued by Dan (Jude Law), a struggling writer.
