Plot Summary

Cassandra's Dream follows two brothers, Ian (Ewan McGregor) and Terry (Colin Farrell), who come from a modest family and work in unglamorous jobs—one at the family restaurant, the other as a car mechanic. Both are driven by fantasies of wealth and a more luxurious life, but their fragile balance collapses when Terry accumulates massive gambling debts, pushing the brothers into a financial and moral corner.

Desperation gradually erodes their sense of right and wrong, and the idea of committing murder becomes a conceivable escape route. Their already strained relationship grows even more unstable after meeting Angela (Hayley Atwell), an ambitious aspiring actress whose presence intensifies jealousy, desire, and mistrust.
