Story Overview

After drifting through deep space for 57 years, the escape shuttle of Ellen Ripley, played by Sigourney Weaver, is finally recovered. As the sole survivor of the Nostromo incident, Ripley struggles to convince corporate officials of the terrifying alien life form she encountered. Her warnings are dismissed as exaggerated trauma, and she is left isolated with the weight of an unimaginable past.

Years later, communication with a human colony established on the same hostile planet abruptly ceases. Faced with the possibility that her worst fears have become reality, Ripley is asked to accompany a team of heavily armed Colonial Marines to LV-426. Initially resistant, she ultimately agrees, driven by the need to confront the nightmare she barely escaped.

Upon arrival, the mission quickly spirals into chaos as the team discovers that the alien threat has evolved into a vast and merciless colony. Ripley must once again rely on her resilience and instincts to survive, protect the remaining humans, and face the creatures that have turned the planet into a living hell.

A landmark of science fiction cinema, Aliens expands the universe introduced in Alien, transforming claustrophobic horror into relentless action. Directed by James Cameron, the film became a critical and commercial success, winning two Academy Awards and cementing its status as one of the most influential sequels in film history.
