Beyonce Becomes a Billionaire, Joins Forbes List as the Fifth Musician
Grammy Award–winning American singer Beyonce has reached billionaire status, becoming the fifth musician to be included on Forbes’ billionaires list. According to Forbes, the 44-year-old artist’s net worth has climbed to 1 billion dollars, largely built through companies and brands she established over the course of her music career.
The magazine reports that Beyonce earned 148 million dollars this year alone, an amount that made her music the third highest-earning in the world. Like her husband, American rapper Jay-Z, she now appears on Forbes’ prestigious list of billionaires. Other musicians on the list include American artists Taylor Swift and Bruce Springsteen, as well as Barbadian singer Rihanna.
Meanwhile, despite media reports since 2024 claiming that American actress and singer Selena Gomez is a billionaire, Forbes’ current billionaires list does not include her. Beyonce also marked a major artistic achievement this year by winning the “Album of the Year” award at the 67th Grammy Awards with her album Cowboy Carter.
