Plot Summary

Ghost Rider centers on Johnny Blaze (Nicolas Cage), a fearless motorcycle stuntman who makes a fatal bargain with the devil (Peter Fonda) to save his father’s life, unknowingly condemning his own soul in the process. Years later, Johnny has become a legendary rider known for ever more dangerous performances, but when night falls, he transforms into the supernatural embodiment of vengeance: the cursed and hellfire-driven Ghost Rider, one of Marvel Comics’ most iconic antiheroes.

When Johnny reunites with his childhood love Roxanne Simpson (Eva Mendes), he dares to believe that redemption — and a second chance at happiness — might still be possible. The devil offers him a grim deal: if Johnny can destroy Blackheart, his rebellious son who seeks to turn Earth into a living hell, his soul will be restored.

Blackheart (Wes Bentley), determined to surpass his father and plunge the world into darkness, becomes the ultimate threat. Standing between humanity and damnation is only one being capable of facing him — Ghost Rider himself. Caught between love, damnation, and vengeance, Johnny Blaze must decide whether he is merely a cursed servant of hell or a hero forged in fire.
