Story Overview

Tae-suk (Hyun-kyoon Lee) lives a ghost-like existence, quietly occupying the empty homes of vacationing strangers. Rather than stealing, he repays his temporary stays by fixing broken appliances, doing laundry, and leaving each space better than he found it. His silent routine reflects a life detached from society, drifting unnoticed through the margins of everyday life.

Everything changes when he enters a house and encounters Sun-hwa (Seung-yeon Lee), a woman trapped in an abusive marriage. Their connection forms without words, built through shared silence and subtle gestures. As Sun-hwa joins Tae-suk on his unusual journey from house to house, their bond deepens into a fragile yet profound relationship.

Together, they navigate a world where presence and absence blur, finding solace in each other while remaining invisible to society. Their story unfolds as a poetic exploration of loneliness, love, and identity, where communication transcends language and existence itself becomes almost intangible.
