Film Özeti
Konusunu Gerry Conlon’un (Daniel Day Lewis) gerçek hayat hikayesinden alan filmde masum bir adamın 15 yıl süren hukuk mücadelesi ve kazandığı büyük zafer anlatılır . Babası Giuseppe’nin (Pete Postlethwaite) tüm endişelerine rağmen Belfast’lı Gerry’nin bütün hayatı içmek, sarhoş olmak ve eğlenmek üzerine kuruludur. İrlanda'lı olmasına rağmen IRA ile de arası pek iyi olmayan Gerry bir arkadaşıyla İngiltere'ye gider.
